Our Program

Who and Where we serve......

Rebekah's House is the only program of its kind in McHenry county for women in recovery. We serve all geographical areas.

Our program represents a non-clinical approach to the problem of alcohol and drug dependency. This supportive, educational setting is grounded in the spiritual principles of AA and the belief that "I can't....God can". By providing a safe and supportive environment to study and practice these principles, we believe that the women at Rebekah's House have a better understanding of their addiction and what it takes to sustain long term sobreity.

The residence offers an additional three to twenty-four months of structured living to women who have completed an initial detox and rehab, and have expressed the need for a continued recovery living environment. The house is close to public transportation, health clinics, and job opportunities. The requirements for the house will include but not limited to:

  • A sincere desire to make necessary changes to learn to live clean and sober and seek to become the woman God intended her to be
  • Obtain and keep full-time employment
  • Pay weekly fee and deposit
  • Attend all circles within the house
  • One on One counseling one time per week
  • Get a sponsor and work a twelve step program
  • Address any legal issues
  • Volunteer hours every month within the community
