How long is your program?

We ask for a ninety day commitment, but you may stay up to two years as long as you are working towards a goal.

What is the process to become a resident?

  1. You will need to call the main number (815) 337-4566
  2. Complete a phone interview.
  3. The program director will call you to set up a face-to-face interview with you and possibly your counselor, spouse, significant other or family member and our House Manager.

What is expected of me?

  • A sincere desire to change your life
  • Accepting help from others
  • Practice a 12 step program
  • Attend a house of worship on Sundays
  • Practice Gratitude and Acceptance
  • Practice H.O.W. (honesty, openmindedness & williness)
  • Follow all house rules

What does Rebekah's House offer?

We will offer you compassion and guidance to obtaining acceptance and gratitude in your new life in a structured environment. We will offer referrals to outside agencies that can help you with other life skills, and address your individual issues. 

What Rebekah's House Isn't:We are not a babysitting service (for women not ready to change)

  • We are not enablers
  • We are not a hidout
